The Maritime Museum in San Diego has the world’s finest collection of historic ship, included the oldest active ship the ‘Star of India’.
The mission of it, is to keep memory of seafaring by collecting and presenting rich maritime heritage and keeping historic connection with the Pacific world.
The museum displays permanent and temporary exhibits on maritime history, exploration, organizes events such as “The chocolate festival” or ‘Pirate Buccaneer Birthday Bash”.
Thousand of children visit the maritime Museum of San Diego each year for a variety of educational programs. The museum’s ships are the play host for about more than 200 private events such as weddings, private parties, meetings etc.
