The "National Naval Aviation Museum" located on the Pensacola Naval Air Station naval base is the world’s largest Naval Air History Museum. More than 150 beautifully restored aircrafts representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation are displayed inside the museum's nearly 300,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre grounds.
Besides visiting these vintage aircrafts, you can experience a flight in the IMAX theater or take a ride in the MaxFlight 360° or Motion Based Simulator.
Twice a week you even have the possibility to watch the "Blue Angels" doing practice air shows and to get their autograph afterwards. Admission to this and in general to the museum is free! They even offer free guided tours and also the "Flight Line Trolley" tours, on which you are taken to the flight line by a bus to see around 50 aircrafts, are free of admission.
