Contact Us The "Al-Hashemi Maritime Museum" is located behind the Radison SAS Hotel in the Al Hashemi II, which holds the World Record as the largest wooden boat.
Twelve large ship models, a collection of seafaring accessories, pictures of traditional significance and photographs depicting construction of Al Hashemi II comprise parts of the museum. The large dhow also has a Grand Ball Room and several other reception areas that are used for weddings, conferences, dinners, etc.
It is open daily from 9am to 5pm and admission is free.
