Estonian Maritime Museum

The Estonian State Maritime Museum is located in Tallin in the cannon tower, Paks Margareeta. The building was built in 1916 and founded in 1935.
There is the submarine belonging to the museum such as Lembit and Suur Tool.



The exhibits concern the general history of shipping and fishing in Estonia.  There are four floors displaying different exhibitions such as:

  • ship building
  • navigational aids on ships
  • lighthouses
  • ports

 


From the roof of the tower there is a fine view over the port and Old Town.
